Biotechnology : Principles and Applications

Modern biology is sub divided in to Microbiology, Physiology, Ecology, Genetics, Plant and Animal Sciences, etc. The non-biological fields like Physics, Mathematics and Chemical Engineering merge with modern biological systems for giving birth to biotechnology. As a result of the researches going on in modern biology, it develops new branches like Bio-molecular engineering, Fermentation technology, Tissue culture technology, Pharmaceutical technology, Environmental technology, Food and Dairy technology and Mines and mineral technology, etc. The developments in these branches bring about successful developments in biotechnology. Biotechnology needs more economy for its successful development which depends upon the sociological behaviour of the people of a country.
