Bioremediation of Municipal Wastewater

This book is the outcome of four years research work at the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Pune, India. The globally important issue of water pollution due to discharge of untreated sewage water into the rivers has investigated in depth and the author has given solution through phyto, phyco and vermiremediation technology. The unique future of this book is the comparison of results of all the three bioremediation treatment methods and the pollutant removal efficiency of all the organisms employed in the system. This book consists of five chapters along with recent references. The significant findings will be the guidelines for new research worker.
