Biological Control of Some Bacterial Diseases on Solanaceous Crops

Due to the importance of solanaceous crops for both local consumption and exportation using bio-control agents in controlling plant diseases in these crops are very useful. So this study was conducted to focus on bacterial scab of Streptomyces scabies on potato and Bacterial wilt of Ralstonia solanacearum on tomato whether these diseases have little impact on total potato and tomato yield the, limits production, quality, and market ability of them. Biological control not only increases crop yield and suppresses disease but also avoids environmental pollution. It is important to develop methods for evaluating antagonistic microorganisms and incorporating them into successful disease management.
