BIO-RATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF SPODOPTERA LITURA ON CHILLI

In this research book entitled ¿Population dynamics of Spodoptera litura (Fabricious), its bio rational management and quantification of arthropods on chili (Capsicum annuum L.)¿. The population of Spodoptera litura through pheromone traps collected the male moth was found highly effective. Total twenty-one arthropods species were recorded during the study period which belongs to order Hemiptera - three, Thysanoptera - one, Araneae - two, Coleoptera - four, Orthoptera - one, Lepidoptera - three, Hymenoptera - three, Odotena - one, Dictyoptera - one, Neuroptera - one and others one. Some newer insecticides and bio-pesticides are very effective to control the S. litura by Coragen 15.5 % SC and Indoxacarb14.5 % SC.
