Behaviour of biopsychosocial impairment in alcoholics

One of the phenomena that arouses most interest in the field of psychology is the term alcoholism, since after smoking it is one of the causes of illness and deterioration not only in consciousness and behaviour but also in personality, according to WHO statistical reports. However, the incidence of this phenomenon has continued to increase and is currently the leading cause of death in Latin America and is very influential in Cuba, causing great concern. Alcoholism is considered a multi-causal phenomenon due to the various biological, psychological and social deteriorations that occur. It is for this reason that the very process of health and illness is closely related to alcoholism, as it is one of the major risk factors and is considered a model, soft and gateway drug worldwide.
