BASICS OF CRYSTAL STRUCTURE, DIELECTRICS AND MAGNETIC MATERIALS

It is my pleasure to present this textbook to undergraduate students of Physics. This book is specially written for universities in Karnataka as per the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This book comprehensively covers the topics of Fundamentals of Crystal Structure, Lattice, Basis, Basics of Dielectrics, Polar and Non-Polar Molecules, Polarization, and its Types, Clausius Mossotti Equation, Magnetic Materials, Dia, Para, and Ferromagnetism and Their Properties, Classical Langevin Theory of Diamagnetism, and Paramagnetism. I do not claim originality in the content or presentation of the material included in this textbook. I thank my dear wife, Tejashwini Jagadeesh, who inspired me to work on this book.
