Basic Western Cuisine Module and Students Psychomotor Performance

Many technical institutions in this era are seriously focusing in providing the individuals especially the young with solid skills, hands on or practical ability through a modular system. This approach as argued by many scholars is more holistic as it emphasizes on 30 percent theory and 70 percent on hands on practices which enable to fill the gap between education and industry need. In mastering students skills, improve practical knowledge in specific area, meeting the industry need and increase employability rates, Malaysia has recently implemented this modular system through it Community Colleges. This monograph highlights the empirical investigation on the effectiveness of basic western cuisine module as part of culinary arts program modular system toward students¿ psychomotor performance.
