This book, "Basic Immunology in Simple Language", has the gift of being easy to understand without compromising scientific language. The introduction uses the analogy of a city with its occupants and security detail which is well suited for those starting to learn immunology, being the study of the body¿s defense mechanisms. The author has PhD and over 10 years teaching and research in immunology. The book portrays the enormous complexity of the highly developed immune system in a form that somebody who is being introduced to immunology can easily understand and slowly grow into understanding the complex bits of the subject. The book is tailored for students of immunology in the university who are being introduced to the subject of immunology for the first time. The writing of this book was informed by the fact that most immunology textbooks use a fairly complex language that is not so easy for beginners in this field. I have therefore tried to use simplified the language hence made it easy for learners to learn immunology even on their own. It forms a very good basis to start immunology.
