Bangladeshi Migration in South 24 Parganas District of West Bengal

In India, West Bengal has experienced incessant flow of Muslim migration from Bangladesh throughout the 20th century. Based on the doctoral research of the author, this book focuses on different dimensions of immigration (particularly irregular) and immigrants¿ adjustment process in West Bengal- a border state of India, with special reference to South 24 Parganas.
