Awareness of swayam programme among the Postgraduate students

This thesis deals with the research topic "Awareness Program of sway among the PostgraduateStudents of Alagappa University". The Indian Government had proposed in the Budget Speech 2017 to leverage Information Technology and launch the platform sway with at least 350 online courses.Subsequently the Honorable President of India launched sway on July 9th, 2017, an indigenous platform of the GOI designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality.SWAYAM is a path-breaking initiative of the government aimed at providing quality education to a large number of students pursuing higher education in our universities and colleges. The MOOCs (Massive OpenOnline Courses) on sway courses enable students to virtually attend the course taught by the bestfaculty; access high quality reading resource; participate in discussion forums; take tests and earn academicgrades. It is aimed at benefitting lifelong learners, students, teachers, researchers to use multimedia on any time, anywhere basis for acquiring knowledge and skills. MCG feels that Universities can play a pivotal role in disseminating and popularizing the sway amongst its courses
