Audience Perception of Nigeria's Image on Nollywood films is a research work that investigated what Image of Nigeria the Nigerian Film industry (Nollywood) is projecting of the nation from the audience's point of view. An audience survey was carried out with the use of the questionaire and interviews conducted with major key players in the industry. Nollywood films as it were project the Nigeria nation in a positive and negative light from the audience's point of view. The films show Nigeria's rich cultural heritages, its beautiful potentials and great potentials for advancement as well as its dark sides.In all, Nollywood films are globally acclaimed and speaks for Nigerian nation and is a veritable tool for better image projection and decolonization.
