Attitudes of Sportsman

Social Attitudes and the Leadership Qualities are the attributes that are basic to the development of any society, particularly when the society is a developing one. The investigator prepared the statements for the 38 Social Attitude dimensions mentioned on a five point scale. A seven point scale could have been more comprehensive and a three point scale too inadequate to measure the alternative precisely. The sample had been selected among the participants in Games & Sports and non-participants in Games & Sports from the different levels of education i.e., in the districts, Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli. Research highlights the connection between Games & Sports and Leadership Qualities and Social Attitudes; we need to include in our school agenda the Games & Sports Activities which inter-alia develops the Leadership Qualities and Social Attitudes. The research findings can demand a pride of place for the Games & Sports in such a situation. The findings of the research, if they go on the expected lines can transform the educational system by altering the existing scheme of priorities by putting a premium on Games & Sports Activities.
