Attitude of Students and Teachers towards Cooperative Learning

The Indian classrooms are highly heterogeneous in nature. In the classroom, the students have different abilities. Some can master the subject quickly and some take more time to attain mastery. The teacher ought to make his instruction more effective and meaningful, satisfying the needs of all types of learners in the class. Cooperation is working together to accomplish shared goals. Cooperative learning is the instructional use of small groups so that students work together to maximize everyone's learning. Within cooperative learning groups, students discuss the material to be learned with one another, help one another to understand it, and encourage one another to work hard. Cooperative learning is now widely recognized as one of the most remarkable and fertile areas of theory, research, and practice in education. Finally, we can say that cooperation, collaboration, consideration, creativity, responsibility, and participation all these things seem to become involved in the 21st century, as does the suggestion of stretching the student's experience beyond individual knowing to a kind of collaborative wisdom.
