Athletes' Life satisfaction and satisfaction with some aspects of life

The significance of the issue of life satisfaction and various aspects of life of athletes stems from its importance for health, personal development, effective performance and maintaining positive relationships, as well as dealing with stressful situations.This paper deals with different types of satisfaction of Bulgarian athletes - global life satisfaction, as well as specific satisfaction of individuals with certain areas of life (health; relationships with family, friends and colleagues; personal development; achievements; what a person can achieve , i.e. skills and performance in the activity; financial situation). The survey described in this monograph attempts to answer the following main question: Do sports contribute to the satisfaction with the personal development, the achievements and the skills expressed in the performance of the activity?
