A board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), from Texas Woman's University, Denton TX. An advanced Practitioner with vast clinical experience in pediatrics and educational background. With an astute clinical Registered Nursing background in geriatrics, rehabilitation,telemetry, med-surgical and dialysis. Recently published in the Journal of Pediatric Health Care and accepted for publication in Advance for NPs (Nurse Practitioners) and PAs (Physician Assistants). Published case study: Neurofibromatosis, A Toddler with Back pain. Accepted case study for publication: Sweet's Syndrome in Pediatrics. A current member of Texas Nurse Practitioners and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition, a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, the Honor Society of Nursing (Epsilon Omega Epsilon) and Sigma Theta Tau International. Interests are to continue to promote quality advanced clinical practice, research, nursing education and mentoring of prospective nursing students.
