Assistive Technologies For The Elderly People

Everyone will go through a normal process that affects his well-being in some way. This process is called ¿Aging¿ where we could face some difficulties to drive our cars or to climb the stairs or to practice any type of sports. But with all these challenges that come with aging each and every one of us will want to practice those activities that are used to enjoy. No one would like others to control how they live, we always tend to be independent and live comfortably in our own homes. Nowadays, and with the much reduction of service workers and the increment of elderly individuals every year; the community, the family members and even the elderly individuals themselves are looking for a new strategy or replacement of the human help due to its limitation of availability and cost. Even though human assistance can never be completely replaced, assistive technologies are closely looked at because it could improve the quality of life for older adults as well as care givers.
