Assessment activity of the teacher

The work deals with one of the important aspects of the teacher's professional activity - the teacher's assessment activity. The relevance of the presented research is due to the need of society and the state for a teacher who can solve professional tasks of pedagogical activity, including tasks related to his evaluation activity. The study systematizes the requirements for the assessment activity of a modern teacher by educational levels and professional tasks of pedagogical activity; the connections between the teacher's assessment activity and his professional pedagogical activity are substantiated in the logic of the competence-based approach; the features of the evaluative activity of the teacher are highlighted as a component of his professional activity; the essence, factors (objective and subjective, internal and external) and indicators of the development of the evaluative activity of a modern teacher are revealed; the possibilities of the development of the evaluative activity of the teacher in the process of his professional development at school are determined. The work is addressed to principals, head teachers of schools, methodologists, teachers, specialists interested in innovation in education.
