Assertiveness and Self Esteem of Adolescents Who Have Single Parent

Already facing several problems prior to the death or separation of parents, children and adults remain encountering the problems of adaptation brought about by the new era of their life after switching to a new family. Despite the adaptation of the child to the single-parent life varies by the parent's level of interaction and communication with the child, parental deficiency brought about by the single-parent life leads to major social, economic and psychological damages in the child and the adult. So, differences between the children in families with preserved familial integrity, and children exposed to a switch to a single-parent format upon several death or separation occasions disrupting the familial integrity, and variation of such differences based on various variables make it necessary to investigate an issue not adequately addressed by the literature.
