Aspiration Cytology- a review

Throughout its long history cytopathology has been concern with the study of the dearrangement of cellular structure and function that occur in disease, and the co relation of these changes with clinical sign and symptoms. This clinicopathological approach, which made pathology the foundation of clinical practice, remains as valid as ever this diagnostic method as thus provided the cytopathologist with samples of fresh cells and cellular squames from virtually every part of the body, allowing pathologist to identify with high degree of specificity, cells and there product.
