The application of information technology in this field of medicine is explained by the complexity, uncertainty and multi-parameter nature of the problem. The fact that the majority of symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning are found in other poisonings also contradicts the differential diagnosis. At the same time, considering such consequences of poisoning with carbon monoxide as myocardial infarction, gait and motor disturbance, peripheral neuropathy, dementia, Parkinsonism u.a. it is expedient to perform monitoring of a patient after staying in a stationary treatment which determines optimum time of its performance, kind and the number of analyses required for developing an intelligent system.
