Artificial Intelligence in Electric Drives

This book deals with application of artificial intelligence for electric drives. Electric drives has applications in electric / hybrid vehicles, autonomous vehicle, machine tools and several industrial automation applications. Based on use cases, neural networks and fuzzy logic can be designed to meet specific requirements. The book showcases how such application oriented AI based systems can be designed to control motors with electric drives. It highlights the benefits achieved in CPU processing time by introducing new concepts for AI based solutions which can help to reduce power consumption and increase battery life, if required. The book highlights the design of complete AI based electric drive. It highlights some future scope of work towards end, which could not be carried out as part of this project.
