This book is a result of an investigation made on traditionally important herbal plant like Artemisia absinthium. My aim was to provide a handy book which shared the information about the study conducted on this indigenous plant. Presently, there is an increasing demand for plant based drugs to cure the serious ailments. Artemisia absinthium Linn (WormWood) is a perennial herb belongs to the genus Artemisia native to temperate zone of Eurasia, North Africa and North america. It is one of the important species of this genus and widely distributed in Himalayan region and southern Western Ghats of India.
