Approaches to back pain management

To study the consumption of muscle relaxants in outpatient treatment of the population of Stavropol and in the practice of self-medication, a comparative retrospective pharmacoepidemiological analysis of the dynamics of consumption of muscle relaxants in retail sales was carried out. To determine the clinical and demographic characteristics of the main consumers of muscle relaxants in outpatient practice, the effectiveness and safety of therapy in patients with back pain who take muscle relaxants on their own (on the recommendation of friends, acquaintances, personal experience, advertising in the media) or as prescribed by doctors of various specialties (district therapists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and other specialists).
