Application of web-mapping in distribution of Pb-Zn deposits

This work highlights the application of web mapping technologies in studying the distribution of Pb-Zn-Ba-Sr deposits in Tunisia. Web mapping provides valuable insights into the spatial patterns and characteristics of these mineral deposits, enabling informed decision-making and resource management. The methodology involves data collection, selection of a web mapping platform, establishment of a geospatial database management system, integration of data with the platform, data visualization, performance optimization, and security implementation. By following this methodology, stakeholders can visualize the distribution of deposits, supporting decision-making in mineral exploration, resource planning, and environmental management. The use of web mapping technologies offers advantages such as improved data visualization, spatial analysis, data sharing, and decision support. Overall, leveraging these technologies enhances understanding and contributes to sustainable resource management in the mineral exploration sector in Tunisia.
