Application of Machine Learning- Classification of Students

Machine Learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) which provides facility to system to atomatically learn and update the knowledge from previously learned experience. Learning begins with observations, experience or pattern matching in data and making the decision making better for future output.The focus of book is on student¿s classification using machine learning technique. While choosing any field number of options are available in front of students. Student¿s psychological factors, family background, educational environment are main essential factors while selecting career path and these factors act as a training set to the learning system for classification. With time educational records are accumulating and increasing rapidly. To handle this old data along with new feature data, incremental learning technique is introduced by machine learning. Incremental learning algorithm handles previous knowledge to take future decision and update itself. Knowledge is represented by using combining different classifiers for identification of student's features for their carrier growth.For this two mapping function is used with base classifier like CART and SVM.
