The current work has been supported by some experiments have been carried out to verify the line heating method and the results of these experiments led up to establishing the line heating department in Zamil shipyard in Saudi Arabia. As a result of the current work, the author believes that line heating method can be easily implemented in any shipyard and the results of this implementation will generate savings the costs to do the forming of shell plates without depending on the existence of the rollers and presses machines
