SPN letters to Parents, Educators, Policy Makers and Medical Providers are written to bridge the gap between treatment paradigms and expand the current healing rubric. Living a life filled with positive relations, nutrition that works for your personal needs, recreation that keeps you actively motivated and meaningful career work are all part of a healing modality incorporating alternative approaches. Understanding treatment, acceptance and striving to improve oneself by taking personal responsibility through education and advocacy are part of this SPN's journey. This thesis is a start in opening the dialogue as our societies expand and world gets smaller.
