Antimicrobial Azole Heterocycles: A Study

Inspite of availability of and accessibility of many antibacterial and antifungal drugs in the market, most of them have fallen prey to the increased resistance of microorganisms. In order to defeat this resistance, resistance mechanisms specificity and bacterial, fungal selectivity should be devised as the main targets for enhanced antibacterial and antifungal activity.
