This book titled "Analyzing Community participation in Local Government Funded Projects" discusses the reasons why project designers and implementers ought to actively involve community members in the planning and implementation of development projects at local and national levels. Community participation empowers local members to take collective actions in coming up with appropriate, relevant and sustainable interventions that are aimed at transforming their own communities. Although the community based approach does not come without challenges, the approach is now increasingly becoming a conventional approach to improving and realizing sustainable Livelihoods.
