Analysis of micro-project financing mechanisms

The support to private initiatives in rural areas is a mission that requires a dynamic organization in its execution. Indeed, it requires a real involvement of all the actors (donors and promoters) to achieve optimal results. The project to support agricultural sectors (PROFIL), which is considered to be a donor in the case of financing micro-projects, has put in place a set of procedures to help local producers develop certain agricultural sectors (onions, sesame, cowpeas, traditional poultry, small ruminants). The general objective of this study is to detect the limits in the management of micro-projects through a generalized analysis of financing mechanisms and by learning about the realities on the ground. Through this method of study we were able to understand the techniques of human, material and financial organization of PROFIL in terms of financing. Thus, we were able to observe that the non-respect of procedures by certain actors causes failures in the realization of projects.
