The indegenious germplams of Brassica Campestris was improved through modern molecular and conventional breeding techniques. In conventional breeding the Brassica campestris cultivars were crossed with Brassica napus varieties and the offsprings were then evaulated for genetic diversity through molecular (RAPD and SSR) markers.
