An Internship Final Report for Dissertation of B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree

Internship program is perfect pre-service fieldwork training organized for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) students as an integral part of the degree program at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Tribhuvan University (TU). Internship commences after the completion of the academic courses, all nine semesters, and the students spend a total of six months for internship at veterinary hospitals, livestock and poultry farms, disease diagnostic laboratories and other relevant institutions and organizations where they undergo skill development training. Internship program enables the students to understand the field problems and provides them with wider exposure to various aspects of animal health like epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and various works related to animal population and management.
