An Exploration of School Nurse Role in Bahrain

This study identified and described the barriers to the role of school health nurses in the public schools in Bahrain through school nurses¿ own narratives of their everyday practice and examined the corresponding future practices and policies for school health nurses and explained the challenges of school health nurses¿ roles in their schools. School Health program is a program that is a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, and the findings will provide guidance on needed policies, directions the planning should go, and strategies to use in the successful provision of the role of school health nurses in school health services in both ministries.
