An Evaluation of Gender mainstreaming in TVET institutions in Kenya

This book is an evaluation of the gender mainstreaming policy that was developed by the Ministry of Education in 2007 by the Kenya Government. The policy was to provide, policy direction on gender mainstreaming activities in education in Kenya. The book evaluated the Gender in Education policy with emphasis on implementation of the gender policy in Technical and Vocational Education and training institutions in Kenya. This was done to gauge how far the implementation of the policy had been done, strategies in place challenges faced and way forward. From the evaluation and research carried out, the book makes recommendations for various stakeholders on the implementation process and also gives suggestions for further research on implementation of the gender mainstreaming policy in Institutions.
