Agronomic efficiency of Phosphate rock enriched FYM in Soybean

The book entitled " Agronomic Efficiency of Phosphate rock enriched FYM in Soybean (Glycine max(L.)Merrill is very much useful for undergraduate students of B.Sc in Agriculture and post graduate students of Agronomy. The author explained the production of soybean under different levels of PROM (Phosphate Rich Organic Manure)in a easily understanding way, more over the procedure involved in preparation of PROM.Rock phosphate (34/74) containing 34% of P2O5 and FYM with 0.2% P2O5 were used for the preparation of PROM. Rock phosphate @ 60 kg P2O5 ha-1 (176.5 kg of PR) was mixed with FYM in three different ratios i.e., 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4. and its effect on soybean production was showed in interesting way in both results and discussion in tabular form.for this study the soybean variety Js-335 was used, it is a stable and popular variety. It has erect and compact plant stature with determinate growth habit. It matures in 80-85 days and grows to a height of 30-35 cm. It shows dark green foliage, purple flowers and grey pubescence with light yellow seed colour and light brown hilum. The seeds are bold, attractive with good germination and have yield potential of 1500-2500 kg ha-1.
