Research on the theme of "African armies in democratic processes with the advent of sovereign national conferences; the case of Niger" is an ideal opportunity to delve into a major issue for young African democracies. The aim of this study was to shed light on one of the most thorny issues facing African democracies, namely the role and place of the armed forces.
