Advantages and disadvantages of using Sage software

This book focuses on the study of computerized accounting. It begins with a conceptual treatment of accounting, accounting organization and computerized accounting, emphasizing the role of accounting within a company before turning to a case directly borrowed from the practice of a peasant organization in the east of the DRC. This study will enable us to identify the accounting methods, systems and procedures provided for in the OHADA accounting system that are practiced within organizations in general and peasant organizations in particular. The focus is on the advantages and disadvantages of an automated accounting system using Sage 100 software, which will allow us to determine whether the implementation of a computerized system does not change the accounting system set up by an organization. In addition, we will address in this article the question of the efficiency of the Sage 100 software to know if it allows to answer the aspirations of the users and the managers.
