The objective of this book is to provide a structured overview of the views on ISDS adopted by different experts. Eventually the paper can contribute to an attempt of moving the discussion about the incorporation of ISDS in the TIPP to another level. Firstly, an overview of the most important arguments may stimulate us to think of ISDS in a broader context. Considering ISDS with solid knowledge of the views in other fields could make us more critical. Secondly, the overview may be useful when making a distinction between the consequences of ISDS known and the consequences of ISDS that are yet unsure.
