Advanced Metallic Interconnect for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

One of the most promising and attention fuel cell systems seems to be Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC). Since, SOFC technology has a substantial potential in the application of clean and efficient electric power generation. SOFC development requires the combination of broad groups of different engineering branches. One of the tasks is to invent the most suitable materials for all SOFC components. One of the challenges in improving the performance and cost-effectiveness of SOFC is the development of suitable interconnects materials. This book is aimed to provide a critical and comprehensive study and analysis concerning physical, microstructure and electrochemical aspects of metallic interconnects development in high-temperature of SOFC application.
