Adult ADHD Diagnosis: Influence on Life Adjustment Associated Factors is book based on a Master of Science degree dissertation that was design to find out the prevalence of self-report diagnosis of Adult ADHD among the general population & the influence of ADHD symptomatology on factors associated with life adjustment among adults. One thousand two hundred and eighteen (1,218) Adults were randomly selected as participants for the research and Five instruments such as Barkley Adult ADHD Rating Scale-IV (BAARS-IV), Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D), Social Functioning Questionnaire (SFQ), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE) were used for the research. Mean, Standard Deviation (S.D), Deviance Threshold (+1.5 S.D), Percentage, and Multiple Regression Analysis were employed in analyzing the data collected while seven hypotheses were tested. One of many findings however revealed prevalence of self-report clinical significance of 7.6% Adults with the ADHD combined symptoms of Inattention, Hyperactivity, and Impulsitivity for positive symptom counts for ADHD current symptoms among the general population.
