Academic Advising Among Undergraduate Students

The book highlights definitions and concepts of inter Faculty transfer and the procedures to be followed when inter Faculty transfer is to be conducted. The concepts of academic advising and Counselling services, benefits of transfer, types, factors, reasons advanced by Students for the transfer and some major functions of Guidance and Counselling units were examined. Academic matters, from admission to graduation stage were extensively elaborated. Similarly, analysis of Students' responses provided in the questionnaire were carefully presented. Comparisons of Students' responses among Faculties were outlined. Lastly, Issues, Challenges and suggestions were provided. It was recommended that efforts should be intensified for the early release of results to enable Students begins transfer process in good time.
