A Text Book of Chemistry

As per the New Education Policy (NEP ¿ 2020), Syllabus of the First-year Chemistry of Dr. BAMU, Chh. Sambhajinagar get changed from 2022-23. It includes four papers (two in each semester) ¿ Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Applied Chemistry covering different topics of Basic and Applied Chemistry. This book covers all syllabus of B.Sc. I of Dr. BAMU with assignments. The Inorganic section covers various topics including basic theories of atomic structure and quantum numbers, chemical and molecular bondings & structures on the basis of ionic bonding, covalent bonding, hybridization, VSEPR theory, MOT. Organic chemistry papers cover topics including - the fundamentals of organic reaction mechanism; isomerization & stereochemistry; properties, synthesis and reactions of benzenes, alkyl & aryl halides, alcohols & phenols. Chemical Energetics ¿ Thermodynamics and thermochemistry, chemical equilibrium, gaseous state and chemical kinetics are included in the physical chemistry paper. Some new and applied chemistry topics such as Basic principles of Chromatography ¿ Paper and TLC, properties and synthesis of some essential drugs, properties and types of different glass, etc.
