A Study on the Role of Corporate Social Responsibility Practices

Book is an empirical effort to know the contribution of the corporates in community development. Corporate Social Responsibility has been a philanthropic activity since the ancient period in India. most MNC's of India practice CSR as an ethical part of their business. The Companies Act 213 of India, mandates Corporate investment in community development. however, the corporate approach towards community development has been changing since 2013. The present book discusses the corporate effort in community development in the Karnataka state of India. The Corporates like Hindalco, JSW Cements, JK Tyres, Indo-US MIM, and Jubilant Pharma. Book will further provide direction and scope of improvement in the service delivery through CSR initiatives and strengthening the various level of partnership such as Community and organisational partnership, NGO, and implementing organisation.
