A Study on Risk Management in Execution of Construction Projects

This research project has examined all possible management of risks that are associated with construction projects from initiation to commissioning stage, determined the probability and likelihood of occurrence of risks and ranked them as per their severity. Moreover, the impact of risks of medium or high probability on project targets (completion of projects within budget, expected quality achievement and timely completion) has also been ascertained. Additionally, management of risk, qualitative risk analyses, risk response plan, risk management process, project initiation risks, budget/ finance and economic risks, skilled labour risks, procurement of material risk, technical supervision and quality control risks, project management risks, contract management risks, operational risks, external risks, overall risk assessment, risk impact matrix, risk ranking, risk probability, range of risk matrix have also been explained at length in this project. This book is going to enrich the knowledge of project managers, real estate managers, site supervisors and all those who are directly or indirectly associated with the projects of construction industry.
