A Study of Friendship Quality in High School Students

A Study of Friendship Quality in High School Students investigated differences in friendship quality between Christian high school students and non-Christian high school students. This study showed that Korean Christian high school students and non-Christian high school students had similar friendship quality. However, this study found there was a significant correlation between spirituality and friendship quality. Among Korean Christian high school students, students with a high level of spirituality showed a higher level of friendship quality. In other words, friendship quality is positively related to the level of spirituality. Maturing spirituality is linked to higher quality friendships. Consequently, the more Christian adolescents become spiritual, the more their friendship quality will increase.
