A study of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in Bangladesh Context

This book which is based on a research study conducted in Bangladesh gives an insight on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) principles and practice, and explores the factors which may affect teachers¿ ability to apply CLT in Bangla Medium Secondary School English Language Education in Bangladesh. This book discusses the education structure, the potential of English language learning, and the problems with CLT in the Bangladesh context. This book also explores some of the major features of CLT which the government of Bangladesh has been trying to make practising teachers adopt such an approach to classroom interaction for over a decade.
