A Strategic Intervention of Micro Plastics and Nano Plastics

In recent decades, the world has witnessed an exponential increase in the production and consumption of plastic materials. They are pervasive in marine and terrestrial environments, posing risks to wildlife, ecosystems, and human health. Marine animals and organisms can ingest microplastics, potentially leading to various negative effects, including gastrointestinal blockage and hormonal disruptions. Nano plastics are even smaller plastic particles, with sizes ranging from 1 nanometer (nm) to 1 micrometer (¿m). These particles can be formed directly through the degradation of larger plastic items or can result from further fragmentation of microplastics.
