Dr Ibrahim Wada is a recipient of the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for his ground-breaking works in medicine, specifically the breakthrough in in vitro fertilisation (IVF), the birth of the first nationally authenticated ¿test tube¿ baby born in Nigeria in 1998.
