After having written more than 20 articles on different and particularly interesting topics of the history of Medicine in general and of anatomophysiology in particular, we decided to take the opportunity of gathering them in a volume in order to facilitate the task of all the historians of medicine and spare them the trouble of looking here and there in the different Journals to find this or that particular topic. All the more so because some articles are not yet published. We hope this book will be useful to them all, on whose benevolence we are pinning all our hopes, as the ancient authors generally did.
