A Practical Guide to Child Protection

The present Guide, written with a simple and clear style, accompanied by illustrative images to facilitate the reading to the recipients and to all the public of the common people, is an important tool of sensitization, not only to those who are called to exercise a public power on the children, but also to the parents and to all the community called to the protection of these last ones whatever the circumstances and the situations. Protecting children, especially those in conflict with the law, during this period of global health crisis of Covid-19 is urgent, important and delicate, in the particular Congolese context of the situation of the so-called street children "Shegue" or "Phaseur". These children are exposed to the highest risk and abandoned to their own sad fate and can easily become the engines or reserves of the spread of the pandemic without realizing it. This pandemic, which has spared no one, no nation, either directly or indirectly, is one of the true lessons given to humanity.
